Business Model Canvas (BMC)

The 3-days Nava Udhyamshala session began with the master class on Business Model Canvas (BMC) on April 17th, 2021. The session was facilitated by Ms. Swechha Adhikari (Program Coordinator, Antarprerana), and Ms. Diksung Sherpa was in the session for the backup support.

The BMC session was later followed by the session on ‘Milestone’ also facilitated by Ms. Adhikari. The session was also joined by the group of students from Lumbini Banijya Campus (LBC) who have been working as startup fellows with the incubees/entrepreneurs in the compilation of several information required for the Business Plans.

The post-session was held on Deep dive session of Business Plan with Startup Fellows to work on several components of Business Plans as per the allocation of the groups to each entrepreneur.

Investment Readiness

The session on Investment Readiness was facilitated by Ms. Diksung Sherpa (Investment Associate, Antarprerana) with Ms. Swechha Adhikari as a backup support for the session. The engagement of incubees was mostly seen through their dealing with the confusions by asking related questions to the facilitator. The 2-hours session ended with various company valuation methods, and handling of Q&A from the entrepreneurs.

The session emphasized on several types of pitching, and their importance and implications to the entrepreneurs and their businesses. Also, preparing entrepreneurs for the Demo Day, the session emphasized on pitching to the prospect customers, partners and investors for their business.

On the very day, before the session was taken, a one-to-one interaction was done on Business Plan Compilation by both the facilitators with the entrepreneur. Alongside, with the plan to provide an opportunity for the startup fellows too to share their experience and learning throughout the process, multiple engagements were made with the startup fellows for the Pitching practice at the Lumbini Banijya Campus.

With the feedbacks on the pitching and Pitch Decks, adjustments were made accordingly by Ms. Adhikari and Ms. Sherpa.
