Mr. Om Rajbhandary, is an Executive Chairman of Brihat Group (Real Estate Conglomerate) in Nepal. He is also an executive board member of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) where he is contributing as a Chairperson of Urban Development Committee. He is one of the mentors and Angel Investors for the entrepreneurs who get affiliated with Antarprerana.
Niraj Khanal is a CEO/Co-founder of Antarprerana. Mr. Khanal is a known personality in Nepali startup community and brings in his wide pool of entrepreneurs networks to the firm. A master networker, he has built a vibrant business startup community with the right linkage between entrepreneurs and investors. Khanal is affiliated as the Nepal Representative for PUM, Netherlands senior experts; providing Nepali companies to get Dutch senior experts, as per their need and requirements. Khanal is a visiting lecturer to MBA students on Entrepreneurship. In addition, he has also been providing coaching and trainings for established and aspiring entrepreneurs. He loves music and playing guitar in his free time.
Deepti Khakurel has more than 15 years of experience working at national, international, intergovernmental development agencies working in various capacities including research and programme development/implementation. Deepti has joined Antarprerana in May 2017 to explore the private sector with a focus on Startups/SMEs development and strengthening entrepreneurship ecosystem in Nepal. As a Business Development Advisor, Deepti is leading new avenues for the company through building new initiatives, designing projects and developing implementing strategies.
Susham Rajbhandari has more than 6 years of experience working in the field of finance and investment. His prime areas of work include investment management, business valuation, investment readiness, business projections, due diligence, and financial analysis. While working for the investment readiness of business he also performs the financial health check-up of different companies. Susham has completed his ACCA and M.A. Sociology. He has built his expertise in business development, budgeting, and strategic management. As the business development officer, Susham has been running the business incubation activities in different colleges. He has the experience of working with 38 MSMEs under the ‘Unnati’ project of UNCDF. He also has the experience of mentorship of different growth stage startups, early stage startups, and aspiring entrepreneurs on business development and company finance. He has been engaged in several research initiatives. Being the co-founder and head of finance of ‘Tekka organization’ he also has the experience of overall operations, administrative and financial management. He had facilitate the enhancement of value chain of entrepreneurs based in a rural setting by providing working space to reduce their cost, supporting them in marketing and selling and providing them fair trade benefits by removing the middlemen from the process. He had organized the three days business plan development workshop to over 30 entrepreneurs and SMEs from various sectors. He had also worked as the fellow in teach for Nepal for 2 years, where he taught around 200 underprivileged children in a public school in a rural community. He also has the experience of working as a finance officer and volunteering the program.
Narayani has more than 9 years of experience working in the developmental and private institutions. Her core competencies are in organization strengthening and management. She has demonstrated her capacity in human resource management, operational management, project implementation, change management and documentation. With leadership experiences in YATRA in 2008, a youth led and managed organization; she worked at Association of Youth Organizations Nepal, a leading national youth Non-Government Organization in Nepal. Her contributions were made in Youth Work Camp (YWC), a post disaster youth program to engage urban youth in community service in earthquake prone locations. The earthquake related programs including YWC won 3 national awards. Narayani, further interested in the young women’s leadership, she joined Ujyalo Foundation that works for the advancement of young women to learn and lead in Nepal. She worked as a Manager to look after the overall organization, programs and the team. Presently, she is involved with Antarprerana as the Program Manager to work to inspire young people with business ideas and/or with start-up companies to do their best in creating and strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nepal. She is particularly involved in Incubation Center in Education Institution, Nava Udamshala and other relevant projects.
Shraddha has more than 5 years of experience working in Nepal and Denmark in various developmental agencies and private sector. Shraddha is currently leading and managing projects and partnerships at Antarprerana. Currently, Shraddha is managing outreach projects to strengthen entrepreneurship ecosystem in Nepal and is a lead in the implementation of SMEs Mapping and Incubation Program in Chitwan. Having a solid knowledge and experienced in research she is trained in using SPSS and Strata. While living in Denmark for five years, she worked for Junior Chamber International Copenhagen International (JCICI) as the Personal Relationship Representative for several projects. Earlier she has worked as the Research Assistant in Institute for Integrated Development Studies in the Local Governance Project. She is a graduate in Msc in Social Science in global studies and international development studies. She has led the ethnographic field study in Nepal as part of her Master's thesis entitled " Impact of Diaspora Strategies of Nepal: A symbolic interactionism approach" published in 2016.
Minita Maharjan has more than 4 years of experience at national and international companies working in capacities of Admin and Finance Officer. Minita Maharjan is the Administration Officer at Antarprerana. She is leading and supporting administrative support for the smooth operation at the office. Minita manages the team's queries and makes sure that office compliance and records are in place and updated. Currently, she is pursuing Masters in Science in Business at Shankar Dev College. Prior to Antarprerna she has worked as the Office Manager at One to Watch Pvt. Ltd. in Kathmandu.
Sushmita Maharjan is working as the Program Associate at Antarprerana. She is excited to work with entrepreneurs as she finds them passionate about what they are opt to. Previously Sushmita has an experience working at Neuro Hospital where she was responsible to handle and manage hospital visitors. Currently, she is pursing MBA in Entrepreneurship at King's College.
Swechha Adhikari is a hardworking and highly motivated person who has acquired extensive knowledge in the business field through the study of MBA from the University of the West of Scotland and previous work experience in administrations. Additionally, she is a well-organised person and is highly efficient in working in a multi-tasking dynamic environment. She has recently returned to Nepal to utilize her organisational skill and educational background. And therefore is working as a Program Coordinator in Antarprerana. Moreover, she is a nature lover and enjoys travelling to a place where she can broaden her mind and stimulate her soul. When she is not travelling, she enjoys painting and dancing.
Diksung Sherpa (Xun) started as an project intern, and is now working as an Investment Associate at Antarprerana. She describes herself as a person with a great learning attitude and finds motivation in reflecting herself with the activities she keeps herself busy with. Her interest in Investment started with a book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” which taught her why investment is necessary, and helped her to guide her journey to investment. Besides, she also has an interest in stock market and gained practical knowledge in the aspect. She says "Antarprerana has given me an exposure to step in to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. It's amazing to understand how the very basics of the stock market start with the startups like the ones that Antarprerana has been mentoring through Nava Udhyamshala. Nirmal introduces himself as a student of Investment and Business. He has 4 years of experience of managing accounts and operations in the Retail Industry. He has been active in the stock market as a value investor. Alongside, he also writes blogs on value investing and angel investing.
Preezma Paudel started her journey with Antarprerana as a startup fellow. She is now working as a District Coordinator for Banke District. She enrolled at Brightland college as a Bachelor in Business Studies student. She is confident that working along with antarprerana will enhance her entrepreneurial skills and will help advance her career. She loves traveling and enjoys working with social workers.
A development studies graduate, Aniska Shakya is working as a Program Intern at Antarprerana. She says, having been engaged with projects related to Gender Equality and Social Inclusion for a year, she got an opportunity to work with women entrepreneurs. That's how a knack for entrepreneurship ignited in her. Apart from that, she is also a co-founder of Embrace The Cycle, a social initiative that advocates for menstrual hygiene management to aware people to be vocal about it.
